Lesson #1

I've learned many lessons in my life...but have never documented them until now.
So, the list of lessons will begin where many lists do, starting chronologically with #1.

And so,

LESSON #1: Always have your room clean in case of surprise visits.

Last night at about 6:45, a Mister Brad Morden called on the telephone. His car had broken down on the highway on his way home from Ottawa. Luckily I was at home and was delighted to have him over for dinner! The poor chap had to wait until this morning to get his car fixed, but we fed him and beered him and gave him a place to sleep and allowed him use of my brother's amps and guitars to keep him entertained, and I think he had an all right time.

T'was lovely to see that fellow Brad!

However, I had to make a mad dash to clean up my disaster of a room before we went to pick him up...
Lesson learned.
